If an emerging growth company, indicate by check mark if the registrant has elected not to use the extended transition period for complying with any new or revised financial accounting standards provided pursuant to Section 13(a) of the Exchange Act. ☒ On March 7, 2024, Young Park notified MetroCity Bankshares, Inc. (the “Company”) and Metro City Bank, the wholly owned banking subsidiary of the Company (the “Bank”), of his decision to resign as a member of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Company and the Bank, effective as of May 31, 2024. As a result, Mr. Park will also be resigning as a member of the Company’s Compensation Committee. Mr. Park’s decision to resign is not the result of any disagreement with the Company or its management on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
