Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

Dr. Richard King, the Company’s Chief Scientific Officer (“CSO”) of ABVC BioPharma, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company of his resignation, effective June 13, 2023. Dr. King’s decision to resign was not the result of any disagreements with the Company on any matter related to the operations, policies, or practices of the Company.

 

The Company’s board of directors appointed Dr. Tsung-Shann (T.S.) Jiang to replace Dr. King as the Company’s CSO. Dr. Jiang currently serves as the Company’s Chief Strategy Officer (“CSTRO”) and is one of the Company’s directors.
