LATAM group increased capacity by 8.7% in September and continues to expand connectivity in Brazil


Operating statistics for September 2025

Santiago, October 8, 2025 - During September, LATAM group increased its consolidated capacity, measured in available seat-kilometers (ASK), by 8.7% compared to the same period of 2024. This growth was mainly driven by a 9.6% increase in the group’s international operations, as well as a 14.0% increase in LATAM Airlines Brazil’s domestic capacity. In this market, five new routes were launched during the month - Bonito–Sao Paulo (Guarulhos), Dourados–Sao Paulo (Guarulhos), Fortaleza–Parnaíba, Florianópolis–Porto Alegre, and Belo Horizonte–Porto Alegre - strengthening connectivity within the country. Additionally, the international route between Buenos Aires (Aeroparque) in Argentina and Porto Alegre in Brazil was inaugurated.

Consolidated traffic, measured in revenue passenger-kilometers (RPK), increased by 8.8%, with growth across all segments. Once again LATAM Airlines Brazil’s domestic market stood out with a 17.0% year-over-year increase. As a result, the group’s consolidated load factor reached 84.2%, remaining stable compared to the same month of the previous year.
During September, LATAM group transported 7.3 million passengers, representing an 8.0% increase compared to September 2024. In total, the group carried 64.5 million passengers between January and September 2025.
In terms of cargo operations, capacity measured in available ton-kilometers (ATK) reached 688 million, representing a 2.9% increase compared to the same month of the previous year.

LATAM Airlines Group S.A. and its affiliates are the principal group of airlines in Latin America present in five domestic markets in the region: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, in addition to international operations within Latin America and to / from Europe, the United States, Oceania, Africa and the Caribbean.
