Item 8.01  Other Events
Provident Financial Holdings, Inc. (the “Corporation”) announces with sadness that Director William E. Thomas passed away on April 13, 2026 and extends its deepest condolences to Mr. Thomas’ family, friends, and colleagues.  The Corporation’s Board of Directors will address the vacancy created by his passing at a future meeting.
