Item 5.02    Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On February 8, 2024, Terry L. Kouba, President of Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) and Senior Vice President of Alliant Energy Corporation (Alliant Energy), and Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL, and together with Alliant Energy and IPL, the Company), informed the Board of Directors that he plans to retire effective May 1, 2024.

On February 9, 2024, the Board of Directors of IPL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alliant Energy, appointed Mayuri N. Farlinger to the position of President of IPL effective May 1, 2024. She will continue to serve as Vice President of Alliant Energy and WPL. Ms. Farlinger, 41, has served as Vice President of the Company since January 2022. Prior to that, she served as Director of Operations from January 2020 to December 2021, Director of Revenue Management from February 2019 to January 2020 and Manager – Customer Support Center, Billing Integrity, from May 2018 to February 2019. Prior to that, she held positions across the Company including in Finance, Audit, Regulatory, Account Management, Field Engineering, Customer Renewables, Revenue Management and Operations.
